Congratulations to Maurice Retout, winner of the F.R.S.-FNRS Applied Chemistry Prize 2022

This Prize is awarded every two years to a doctoral thesis on new concepts and/or applications in the chemical industries.
Maurice, currently Postdoctoral Researcher at UCSD, USA and collaborator of the EMNS lab, was rewarded for his thesis work entitled "Design of a no-wash colorimetric biosensor for the detection of the cancer biomarker Mdm2 with plasmonic nanoparticles" realized under the supervision of Gilles Bruylants.
Some of his work has been included in a patent.
