An international network

More than 80% of its post-doctoral researchers are coming from abroad. 

ULB has received EU funding through the COFUND programme. Its project is entitled IF@ULB (Individual Fellowships at ULB), and it will enable the University to hire 63 post-doctoral researchers as part of international exchange programmes.

Open to the world

ULB has received the HR Excellence in Research award from the EU, and is especially attentive to its researchers' careers and training, as well as to their exchange opportunities with other universities with the EURAXESS programme.

Gender policy

ULB has gender issues in mind, and has launched a pioneering initiative called Cascade, aiming to fight the erosion of gender equality as researchers' careers progress.
