Alice Giaprakis has been awarded the Prix René Cyprès 2024 and a BAEF scholarship.
The René Cyprès prize is awarded each year to the Chemical Engineer who has completed all his or her studies at the École polytechnique de Bruxelles, and who has achieved a brilliant academic record.
Alice Giaprakis completed her studies at the ULB with a master's thesis on the Study of the Anion Binding and Transmembrane Transport Properties of Halogen-bond Based Synthetic Receptors, under the supervision of Prof. Kristin Bartik & Hennie Valkenier.
Alice is currently pursuing a complementary Master's degree of Bioprocess Engineering at Berkeley (University of California) with the support of a prestigious BAEF scholarship.
