Dr. Carlos Moya has secured a Lecturer position at the University of Barcelona (UB) in the NanoBIC group.
We are delighted to announce that our former postdoctoral researcher, Dr. Carlos Moya, has secured a Lecturer position at the University of Barcelona's Faculty of Chemistry, within the Department of Inorganic and Organic Chemistry. This position was awarded through the Serra Húnter Programme, an international initiative by the Catalan government to attract qualified faculty members with good academic records, aiming to reinforce the internationalisation of Catalan universities and consolidate Catalonia as a knowledge hub in Southern Europe. From 2020 to 2022, Carlos joined Prof. Gilles Bruylants' group at EMNS lab, where he developed ultra-robust iron oxide NPs for the SUBLIMUS project, enabling the selective extraction of Au and Pt from wastewater and magnetic purification of nucleic acids.
